Agreeing to these terms

By creating an account or using Fanager, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

What Fanager is

Fanager is a platform for running private, salary-cap dynasty fantasy-football leagues: contracts, a hard cap, auctions, trades, waivers, lineups and standings. It is provided free of charge.

No real money is involved

Every figure in Fanager is imaginary. Salary caps, bids, contracts, dead cap and FAAB budgets are units in a game. They are not currency, they have no cash value, they cannot be bought, sold, redeemed or transferred out of the app, and Fanager does not accept payments, hold funds or distribute prizes.

Fanager is not a gambling service and provides no wagering facility. If your league chooses to attach real stakes to its season, that is entirely a private arrangement between its members — Fanager has no involvement in it, no knowledge of it, and no responsibility for it. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you.

Your account

Sign-in is by a one-time link sent to your email address, or through Google. That means whoever can read your email can sign in as you, so keep your email account secure. Give accurate information when you sign up, and do not share your sign-in links. You must be at least 13 years old.

Leagues and commissioners

Leagues are run by their commissioners, not by us. A commissioner can change league settings, edit the schedule, assign players to franchises, act on a franchise’s behalf and delete the league along with all of its history. Those powers are part of the product, and disputes about how they are used are between you and your league.

One account may create up to five leagues. Joining a league requires an invitation from someone already in it.

Acceptable use

• Do not harass, abuse or threaten other members, including on message boards and in draft chat.
• Do not attempt to access another league’s data, or any account that is not yours.
• Do not attack, overload or probe the service, or automate abusive traffic against it.
• Do not use Fanager for anything unlawful.

You are responsible for what you post. We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these terms.

NFL data, names and images

Fanager is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the National Football League, its clubs, or the NFL Players Association. Team names, club marks and player names are the property of their respective owners and are used here to identify real players and teams. Statistics come from a third-party data provider; player headshots and club logos are served from ESPN’s content network. We do not guarantee that any of that data is accurate, complete or timely.

Availability

Fanager is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind. It may be unavailable, lose data, or behave unexpectedly — particularly since it depends on third-party hosting and data providers. It is a hobby-scale product run by one person, and you should not treat it as infrastructure you cannot afford to lose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fanager and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including lost data, a disrupted draft or a disputed result. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Ending it

You may stop using Fanager at any time and ask us to delete your account — see the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, and we may discontinue the service.

Changes

These terms may change; the date at the top changes with them, and continuing to use Fanager after a change means accepting it.
